PLEASE READ PRIOR TO ORDERING:

TERMS OF SERVICE

All refunds on purchases made through our website will have the fees which Sunderland Solar Inc. is charged on the initial transaction deducted from the refund, as credit card/payment processing companies do not refund these fees when a purchase is refunded. Please review the Refund and Terms of Service page prior to placing an order.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & ORDER LEAD TIMES

We try our best to keep our website, including product descriptions, pricing, inventory and availability, as accurate and up to date as possible. However, product availability, pricing, specifications, suppliers and estimated shipping times can change without notice.

Not every product displayed on our website is necessarily in stock and ready for immediate shipment. Some products may need to be ordered from our suppliers after an order is placed.

While it is our goal for products that are in stock and available to be shipped within 3 business days, this is not guaranteed. Products that are not currently in stock may require an extended lead time. Depending on the product, manufacturer, supplier availability, manufacturing schedules, transportation and other circumstances beyond our control, an order may take several weeks or, in some cases, several months before it becomes available and can be shipped.

Estimated shipping times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Product availability and lead times may change after an order has been placed.

If you require a product by a specific date, or if you need to know whether an item is currently in stock and ready to ship, please email us at info@sunderlandsolar.ca before placing your order to confirm current pricing, availability and estimated lead time.

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that the product may not be immediately available and that lead times can change.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you place an order without first confirming availability and subsequently decide that you do not want to wait for the product to become available or for the order to ship, you may request to cancel your order.

If the order is cancelled and a refund is issued, all applicable credit card, payment processing, transaction and other non-refundable fees charged to Sunderland Solar Inc. in connection with the original transaction will be deducted from the refund.

These fees are costs charged to Sunderland Solar Inc. by the payment processor and are not a cancellation fee or additional charge imposed by Sunderland Solar Inc.

A customer's decision to cancel an order because a product is not immediately available, because an estimated lead time has changed, or because the customer is unwilling to wait for the applicable lead time does not constitute a failure by Sunderland Solar Inc. to fulfill the order.

If an item becomes unavailable or we encounter an unforeseen delay that prevents us from fulfilling your order as expected, Sunderland Solar Inc. will contact you to discuss the situation and available options.

Sunderland Solar Inc. does not offer technical support. Product descriptions are not designed or intended to replace your personal product knowledge, experience and/or research, or that of a professional installer or licensed electrician. When in doubt, please seek advice from the manufactuer.

TAXES & SHIPPING

Any item purchased will be subject to the applicable GST/HST of 5%, 12% or 13%, depending on the province.

SHIPPING: Shipping is not included with the purchase price of any product and is never free unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by Sunderland Solar Inc.

When you place an order through our website, the product price and applicable taxes will be charged at checkout. Shipping costs will be calculated separately after your order is received. Sunderland Solar Inc. will provide you with a shipping quote for your approval and payment before your order is shipped.

Shipping costs can vary depending on the product, quantity, destination, dimensions, weight, carrier and current freight rates. The shipping amount provided after your order is placed may therefore differ from any estimated shipping amount displayed on the website.

Your order will not be shipped until the applicable shipping charges have been paid.

It is our goal for products that are in stock and available to be shipped within 3 business days after payment of the applicable shipping charges. We will email you a tracking number when your order has been shipped. If we encounter any unforeseen delay, Sunderland Solar Inc. will contact you.

PRIVACY

We will not, under any circumstances, sell or release your information to anyone, except where disclosure is required by law or is necessary to process your order or provide services related to your purchase.

JUST SO YOU ARE AWARE

Every order placed through our website is subject to credit card/payment processing fees. When a purchase is refunded, these fees are not refunded to Sunderland Solar Inc. by the payment processor.

For example, our credit card processing fees of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. Where applicable, these non-refundable processing fees will be deducted from any refund issued.

We prefer E-Transfers to help avoid these additional payment processing costs.
